Ecoalf

Founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, Ecoalf was inspired by the birth of his sons, Alfredo and Álvaro, and a desire to create a fashion brand that would not deplete the resources of future generations. The brand’s name reflects this personal mission, rooted in the belief that recycling could be a powerful solution, if new products could match the quality and design of the best non-recycled garments. From its earliest collections, Ecoalf focused on turning waste into value, using materials such as recycled polyester, regenerated nylon, and ocean plastics to craft sustainable, timeless clothing.

Fifteen years on, Ecoalf remains one of the pioneers of circular fashion, carrying its mission with even greater urgency as the climate crisis accelerates. The brand’s philosophy is that fashion can no longer be just about aesthetics, it must be about responsibility. As one of the world’s most polluting industries, fashion has a duty to rethink its business model. Ecoalf positions itself as part of that solution, proving that style, innovation, and environmental responsibility can coexist, and that dressing well can also mean doing what is right.
